This year I was determined to see autumn arrive. I prepared carefully, picked up a new coat and cleaned up my boots.

Sarah and I set out to work on a new riceboutique menu. We met new suppliers and Joyce is testing out new products for the shop. I feel ready and raring to go.

So when I looked out of the window this morning, there it was. Autumn had indeed arrived. A new day with its own cool fresh breeze. The trees were ready too and the leaves with deep red colours lined the pathway everywhere I looked.

So what now?

Autumn is welcome at Greenwich Pantry.

Our cupboards are filling with autumnal stuff, at cookery sessions we’ll say hello to seasonal food and riceboutique is emerging with a new menu.

Autumn will certainly be cold and breezy, but autumn will be busy.

I hope to see you on 29th November, enjoying a foodie treat at our Saturday shop or shopping for Christmas gifts for the family.

Until then, keep warm and enjoy your autumn.
