Adult Cooking Classes at Greenwich Pantry

Cooking Classes Greenwich Pantry

Cooking classes at Greenwich Pantry has its character and characters. Curious, lively people who love cooking, eating, making good conversation at the table – my kind of people.

Chopping, slicing, mixing and sometimes crafting

Chopping, slicing, mixing, and sometimes crafting through the chitter chatter. Cooing over colourful vegetables, a comforting backdrop as participants learn to make homely, heartwarming dishes.

We debate the vices and virtues of cooking from scratch with fresh ingredients or buying ready meals to save time and money. Around the table, there’s lots to talk about.

We don’t quite get to put the world at ease about its food conundrums because as the aroma and smells of food hits home, tastebuds are prepped and rhythmic munching takes over.

‘Stomachs are filled and everyone is satisfied’

With stomachs filled, everyone leaves satisfied but of course, someone gets the washing up 🙂

Adult cookery classes and workshops hosted by Greenwich Pantry is a place where everyone including absolute beginners learn cookery basics and healthy eating in a relaxed setting.

Children’s Cooking Classes in London

Children and their parents learn in a range of classes from sushi classes to baking.

‘Teaching parent and child classes is a most rewarding activity.’ Chef Tutor, Greenwich Pantry

Children and their parents can learn in a range of classes from sushi classes to baking. Children’s baking classes are taught by expert chefs with experience in schools and child friendly settings so that your children are helped to become mini cooks.

From baking classes to sushi making, teaching children to cook and eat healthily is a life long endeavour of mine and there’s no better place to start learning about food than in a home kitchen.

So why do we keep our children out of the kitchen?

If cooking and eating is one of life’s greatest pleasures, teach them young. There’s so much to learn through cooking skills which goes way beyond the aesthetic value of food. Measuring, weighing, estimating, guesstimating, socialising, learning about tastes, textures; the list goes on.

It’s not easy when you come home and have a million and one things to do is it?

Granted, it’s not easy when you come home and have a million and one things to do is it? But there are ways around this. Help with planning and goal setting may be what you need. Whatever the case,  with expertise in nutrition on family food programmes, we have seen and helped hundreds of families become better at teaching food at home.

If you are keen to get kids cooking but can’t come along to a group class, but want help with teaching kids to cook at home email cookandeat@greenwichpantry.com and let’s teach the children to be great cooks.
